Wearing Wrist Straps

Wrist straps allow you to fatigue the target muscle without worrying about your grip failing first. They can be used with accessory movements to build size and strength (some examples: DB/BB rows, shrugs, Romanian deadlifts, rack pulls), but only after your grip starts to fail. Building your grip strength is very important, especially for hitting the bigger moves like deadlifts and pull ups.
